Dr. Bill Frei
Dr. Frei is an Idaho native and grew up in the Treasure Valley. His pursuit of a career in dentistry was born from an unfortunate boating accident resulting in the loss of his friend's front tooth. He witnessed his childhood dentist (and future mentor) repair not only his friend's smile, but also his confidence.
Dr. Frei attended Brigham Young University and went on to complete dental school at the Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health. While in dental school, he was able to provide care to the underserved communities in and around St. Louis. Upon graduation, he began his Army dental career, serving 4 years as a Captain. Dr. Frei completed a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program at Joint-base Lewis McChord, WA, learning from the top dental specialists both within the armed services and the civilian world.
Following his residency program, Dr. Frei and his family were assigned to Ft. Polk, Louisiana where they battled hurricanes, humidity and fire ants, but fell in love with crawfish, gumbo, and the wonderful southern people. After their time in the Army, they made the decision to return closer to family and settle here in Idaho's Treasure Valley.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Frei enjoys spending time outside golfing, hiking, fishing, camping, and spending time with his wife and four children.
